Singapore’s Arts Fission Company will mark its 20th anniversary with a 10-day dance project.
Happening at different spaces across Singapore between 30 January and 7 February, Make It New re-examines the company’s work over the last two decades.
The diverse programme spans performances, dance films, exhibitions, talks and forum in partnership with different organisations.
The line-up includes Incidental Performance, a site-specific performance taking place at Singapore’s National Design Centre; and The Thinking Dance, a one-day event aimed at encouraging different ways of viewing contemporary dance, delivered in partnership with The Arts House.
Meanwhile library@esplanade will host The Talking Dance, part of the company’s series of dance dialogues with arts and education institutions for aspiring dancers and arts practitioners.
Launched in 1994, the Arts Fission Company stages original work that seek to explore everyday issues. Collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects are a key facet of the troupe’s ethos.
