Situated in the south-eastern corner of Ireland, Wexford Festival Opera is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading and best loved annual opera festivals. Our ideal candidate is an inspirational and enthusiastic senior leader in the performing arts or the wider cultural sector, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Experience in strategic marketing with a track record in delivering marketing-led business development and brand management is essential, as is demonstrable success in generating substantial income from multiple sources. The ability to drive the company’s business through entrepreneurship and innovation is important. Our Executive Director will have a genuine commitment to growing local participation and wider engagement with the Festival and to promoting diversity and inclusion. You will be passionate about continuing to develop opera as an art-form and the role that Wexford Festival Opera can play at a national and international level.
