Mind the Gap is recruiting for a new full-time Production Manager to join our busy friendly team! The Production Manager will support effective, safe and cost-efficient delivery of Mind the Gap’s busy artistic programme.

Responsible to: Executive Director (Julia Skelton)
Contract type:    PAYE Permanent Contract
Full-time (average 40 hours per week including breaks)
Holidays: 25 days p/a + Bank Holidays

Mind the Gap is one of Europe’s leading theatre companies creating work in partnership with learning disabled artists. We tour productions regionally, nationally and internationally. Our custom designed Studios in Bradford’s iconic Lister Mills offer exemplary access and excellent quality equipment and facilities.

Mind the Gap is looking for a Production Manager to join our busy, friendly team. This management team role involves all aspects of production management, from devising and developing ideas, through to overseeing and/or delivering touring productions, events and live arts projects. We are looking for someone with experience in production management of ambitious, high quality projects for indoor and outdoor settings. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an inclusive company alongside colleagues with a learning-disability and autism, where every day brings new opportunities, and the chance to build relationships with artists, arts and community organisations, and people involved in education, health and social care.

The Production Manager will support effective, safe and cost-efficient delivery of Mind the Gap’s busy artistic programme. They will work in collaboration with fellow members of the Management Team (Executive Director, Artistic Director, Creative and Creative Engagement Producers, Academy Director, Finance Manager) and will be the primary decision-maker about production and technical matters.
